Abilities Overview

Samira's passive, Daredevil Impulse, builds Style (E-S) grade when she attacks or uses abilities in sequence without repeating. At S-grade, she can use R (Inferno Trigger). Each unique hit within 0.5 seconds adds Style. Melee attacks from passive also knock up enemies briefly.

Q (Flourish) fires a shot or slashes in melee range. W (Blade Whirl) creates a sphere that destroys all enemy projectiles for 1 second — timing this correctly can block entire ultimate abilities. E (Wild Rush) dashes through an enemy, dealing damage and resetting on takedown. R (Inferno Trigger) fires non-stop at nearby enemies with full lifesteal — only available at S-grade.

Laning Phase

Samira is an aggressive lane bully. At level 1, Q start for poke. Level 2 (Q+E) enables dash-in trades — auto-Q-E-auto for quick Style build. Level 3 (Q+W+E) is the full trading pattern. Samira excels with engage supports (Leona, Nautilus, Alistar) who CC enemies for her to dash onto.

Level 6 is a massive spike. Build Style on minions or jungle camps, then dash onto the enemy and press R for the full Inferno Trigger. Samira's all-in is one of the strongest among ADCs post-6. Save W to block critical CC — a well-timed W can turn a losing fight.

Teamfighting

Samira is a cleanup ADC who excels in chaotic fights. DO NOT engage first — wait for the enemy to use CC and key abilities. Build Style on the frontline, then E onto the backline and press R. The full lifesteal on Inferno Trigger makes her nearly unkillable during the channel.

Samira's biggest counter is CC and exhaust. If you get stunned during R, you're a sitting duck. Wait for enemy CC before committing. W is essential for blocking projectiles — use it against crucial abilities (Morgana Q, Lux Q, Ashe R). Samira snowballs extremely hard.

Build Path

Start Doran's Blade. The Collector for the execute synergy with passive and R. Infinity Edge for 35% crit damage. Immortal Shieldbow for the shield and lifesteal.

Bloodthirster for overheal shield. Lord Dominik's Regards for tank shred. Guardian Angel for insurance. Boots are Berserker's Greaves or Plated Steelcaps.

Matchups

Samira excels against squishy backlines and immobile ADCs. She struggles against heavy CC comps (Lissandra, Morgana, Leona) that can lock her down during R. Against poke comps, wait for their cooldowns before engaging. Samira is weakest when her team has no engage — she needs someone to start the fight.
