Jungle Marksman · The Eternal Hunters.

Abilities Overview

Kindred's passive, Mark of the Kindred, allows them to mark enemy champions and jungle camps. Killing a marked target grants a permanent stack, which increases auto-attack range and bonus on-hit damage — making each mark a meaningful powerspike. Managing mark targets and map pressure is the key to Kindred's success.

Q (Dance of Arrows) dashes in a direction and fires arrows at the three nearest targets. Each auto attack reduces Q's cooldown by 1 second. W (Wolf's Frenzy) creates a zone where Wolf attacks enemies independently, and Q's cooldown is reduced further inside the zone. E (Mounting Dread) slows and marks a target — Wolf attacks them at low HP for execute damage. R (Lamb's Respite) creates a zone that prevents any unit from dying for 4 seconds.

Jungle Pathing

Kindred is an early-game aggressive jungler. Standard path: red buff start into invading the enemy's mark camp. Level 2 invade with red buff is very strong — look for the marked camp and a fight. Kindred's early dueling is top-tier thanks to Q resets and ranged auto attacks.

Use your mark system to dictate pathing. Mark the enemy jungler at level 1 to track their position. Mark priority lanes before ganks for bonus damage. Kindred falls off if denied marks — aggressive mark hunting is essential. R is a game-changing tool for securing dragons and heralds — use it to prevent the enemy jungler's smite.

Teamfighting

Kindred teamfights as an ADC in the jungle position. Stay behind the frontline, kite with Q-auto-Q-auto patterns, and use W to create safe zones. R is the most important tool — use it to save a teammate from burst or to deny the enemy's execute damage on a priority target.

The biggest Kindred decision is R timing. Too early and the enemy waits out the duration. Too late and your carry dies. R can also be used to trap an enemy — if they commit to fighting inside your R, they can't escape when it ends. Save E for the end of R to mark and execute the target as healing stops.

Build Path

Start Hailblade with Refillable. Rush Kraken Slayer for true damage synergy with Q resets. Phantom Dancer for movespeed and attack speed. Infinity Edge for 35% crit amplification.

Lord Dominik's Regards for armor pen. Guardian Angel or Maw of Malmortius for defense. Bloodthirster for sustain. Boots are Berserker's Greaves or Plated Steelcaps.

Matchups

Kindred excels against melee junglers who can't close the gap (Udyr, Hecarim, Skarner). They struggle against burst assassins (KhaZix, Rengar, Evelynn) who can one-shot them before they use R. Against assassins, save R for the incoming burst and build early armor.
