Viego Abilities Overview
Viego's passive, Spectral Maw, is his defining mechanic — after taking down an enemy champion, he possesses them, inheriting their basic abilities, items, and ultimate, while becoming untargetable briefly and healing significantly. Blade of the Ruined King (Q) passively marks enemies, and actively strikes in a cone for damage. Harrowed Path (W) charges up to stun an enemy. Spectral Despair (E) sends out a stealth mist that fears enemies who remain inside. Heartbreaker (R) drops a massive AoE execute that resets on takedown. Viego Jungle Pathing
Viego has a healthy and fast clear thanks to Q's AoE damage and his passive sustain. Start Red or Blue buff depending on your path. His ganks are decent pre-6 but strong post-6 with W stun and R execute. Look for skirmishes and 2v2 fights where possession resets can chain. Viego Teamfighting
Viego is a reset champion who can take over teamfights by chaining possessions. The key is to get the first takedown — once you possess an enemy, you heal and gain a full rotation of their abilities. Prioritize squishy targets first to start the reset chain. Use W to stun key enemies and E for stealth engage. R is your execute and escape tool; use it to finish low-health targets and reposition. Against CC-heavy teams, be patient and wait for cooldowns to be blown before engaging. In chaotic fights, Viego can wipe entire teams through reset mechanics.
