The Butcher of the Sands. Fury-boosted Ruthless Predator stun, Slice and Dice dash weaving, and Dominus HP steroid teamfight presence.

Renekton's fury mechanic defines his playstyle. Each auto attack and ability generates fury, with bonus fury when below 50% HP. At 50+ fury, abilities are empowered. Empowered W (Ruthless Predator) deals triple the damage and stuns for 1.5 seconds — this level of point-click CC is unique among top laners. Empowered Q heals significantly more.
E (Slice and Dice) is a two-part dash — Slice dashes through enemies, Dice can be reactivated for 4 seconds to dash back, shredding armor with an empowered Dice. R (Dominus) grows Renekton in size, gaining bonus HP and dealing AoE magic damage. The extra HP from Dominus is excellent for baiting enemies into bad fights.
Renekton is the king of early game top lane. Start Q for sustain and fury generation. At level 2 (Q+W), look for a quick trade: auto-Q-auto to stack fury, then W auto reset. Level 3 (Q+W+E) is the classic Renekton spike — E in, auto-W-auto-Q, E out. This trade is nearly impossible to trade back against.
Renekton's level 6 with 50 fury is a guaranteed kill on most top laners. Full combo: Dominus (R), E in, auto-W-auto-Q-auto, E out. Use R to cancel W animation for faster burst. Renekton's weakness is falling off late game — he needs to win lane and snowball to be effective.
Renekton teamfights as a front-line diver. His role is to dive the enemy backline, stun the carry with empowered W, and survive with R HP and Goredrinker active. In teamfights, focus on disrupting the enemy backline rather than dealing damage to tanks.
Renekton's big weakness is kiting — teams with Janna, Lulu, or Zilean make his life difficult. Against these comps, flank rather than engage front-to-back. Save E for sticky situations. Renekton falls off significantly after 30 minutes — end the game early.
Start Doran's Blade. Goredrinker for the active heal and AoE damage. Black Cleaver for armor shred and ability haste. Sterak's Gage for teamfight survivability.
Death's Dance for damage delay. Guardian Angel for insurance. Spirit Visage for healing amp. Boots are Plated Steelcaps or Mercury Treads.
Renekton wins nearly every melee matchup early. He struggles against ranged tops (Vayne, Quinn, Kennen) who can kite his E engage. Against ranged, rush boots and use second E dash to gap close. Renekton out-trades most champions — the key is fury management and trading pattern execution.
