Abilities Overview

LeBlanc's passive, Mirror Image, creates a clone when she drops below 40% HP. The clone is controllable and can be used to juke enemies or bait abilities. Skilled LeBlanc players use the clone to confuse opponents about which one is real — sending the clone in first is a classic mind game.

Q (Sigil of Malice) marks a target — subsequent ability damage from LeBlanc consumes the mark for bonus damage. W (Distortion) dashes to a location and can be reactivated to return to the starting point. E (Ethereal Chains) fires a chain that slows initially and roots after 1.5 seconds — hitting chains is critical for kill confirmation. R (Mimic) casts a copy of the last used spell, dealing increased damage.

Laning Phase

LeBlanc has strong early game burst. At level 1, use Q to harass while farming. Level 2 (Q+W) is a strong spike — Q-aa-W-aa-W back for a clean trade. Level 3 (Q+W+E) enables full burst combos. Look for roams bot lane at level 6 — LeBlanc's ganks are devastating with R mimic.

Against melee opponents, auto-attack harass is strong. Against ranged mages, look for level 2 all-ins. LeBlanc's waveclear is weak — use W to soften waves and Q to last hit. Mana management is critical — don't spam W for poke. Save Distortion for trading and escape.

Teamfighting

LeBlanc is a pick assassin who avoids direct teamfights. Before fights, look for W-R-W double distortion engages to pick off squishy targets. The classic pick combo: W forward, Q-R-E on the target, then W back to safety — if the chains hit, the target is dead.

In full teamfights, stay on the flank and poke with Q and E. Wait for the enemy to use CC, then dive the backline with R mimic. LeBlanc's clone (passive) is invaluable in teamfights for confusing enemies. Against CC-heavy comps, save W for escape rather than engage.

Build Path

Start Doran's Ring. Luden's Echo is the standard mythic for burst and waveclear. Statikk Shiv for magic damage waveclear synergy. Rabadon's Deathcap for massive AP scaling.

Zhonya's Hourglass for stasis during W cooldown. Void Staff against magic resist. Banshee's Veil against AP burst. Boots are Sorcerer's Shoes. Mejai's Soulstealer when snowballing.

Matchups

LeBlanc excels against immobile mages (Xerath, Lux, Vel'Koz) who can't dodge her chains. She struggles against champions who can survive her burst (Galio, Kassadin, Diana) and point-click CC (Lissandra, Malzahar). Against tough matchups, roam aggressively — LeBlanc's ganks are devastating.
